House for keeps

bahay naminOur house may be simple and lacks the amenities rich people enjoy but we make sure ours is clean with kitchen floor mat to boot. We built this house from our meager savings. This is where we start building our dreams and raise our family of four.

However, the land where our house was built 17 years ago is yet to be claimed our own technically. We are paying a monthly amortization and it will take us years before we finish paying the whole amount. Hubby and I are looking forward to settle all our obligations hopefully in 10 years.

We just love this place and this is where we intend to grow old together.

Special movie screening of Wolverine for the benefit of children with hemophilia

Just helping a former colleague spread the word about a fundraising project. There will be a special screening of Wolverine in SM Megamall Cinema 5 on July 26th (Friday). The proceeds will benefit the children suffering from hemophilia.

Hemophilia is a group of hereditary genetic disorders that impair the body’s ability to control blood clotting or coagulation, which is used to stop bleeding when a blood vessel is broken. Haemophilia A (clotting factor VIII deficiency) is the most common form of the disorder, present in about 1 in 5,000–10,000 male births. Wiki
