Teaching kids to save money by starting with small amount

I’ve been telling my kids the importance of saving money using any amount left of their daily school allowance. Since they are kids it’s a hit and miss saving project with them. I remember this money challenge initiated by fellow mommy bloggers at the start of the year. They have been posting this money challenge table on Facebook. I was able to download and saved them for future use. Image credit to Mommy Levy. I think now is the time to introduce this money challenge table to my grown up kids starting with 10 pesos per day. (I think I’m missing the other half of the table ūüôĀ )

What to do with this lyre

Lyre

I bought this lyre for my son three years ago. He joined the school’s Drum and Lyre Band and he need to have his own lyre to join. I bought this for P1,100.00 ($27) and comes with a free case. It was our¬†first real musical instrument at home. Now my dilemma is what to do with this lyre. My son no longer use¬†it. I thought maybe someone could make good use of this.

Meantime, if you are looking for a cost-effective ukele tuning, you can check some music stores in the Quiapo, Manila area for service center.
