What’s keeping my boy busy these days

I’ve been sharing my daughter’s activities and achievements in my blogs most of the time. But since she has graduated from college and has lesser time to do personal art projects, I will be (secretly, haha) sharing my son’s activities here which are mostly school-related.

Just like his sister, K is also into arts and drawing. In fact, he joined a poster making contest at the University of the Philippines last month. He may not have won a prize but he was thankful for the experience to compete with students from other schools.

Here’s the sample of the drawing that he did for the competition organized by the UP College of Mass Communications for the forum “Never Forget, Never Again: A Martial Law Commemoration.

I once dreamt of sending my daughter who was in grade school then to a ballet school. I was considering this popular ballet school along Quezon Avenue. I even inquired about the tuition and ballet uniform but we were not able to enroll when my son got sick. I was hoping I could still send her to ballet school years later and buy her dance gifts from ballet gift shop, but my daughter is no longer interested. She developed a liking for art (drawing) and is now preparing a career in digital art.
