Howdy! It’s summer time in my side of the globe. Kids are having a blast and mommies too yay! I have two months of bliss as I don’t need to wake up early morning to prepare the kids to school. Since kids will have all the time this summer I’m thinking of sending them to a summer program. How about music lesson? A good neighbor is offering their old guitar for the kids to use. The guitar only needs string replacement. Good thing Guitar Center has, best acoustic guitar strings at a great price!
I bought this lyre for my son three years ago. He joined the school’s Drum and Lyre Band and he need to have his own lyre to join. I bought this for P1,100.00 ($27) and comes with a free case. It was our first real musical instrument at home. Now my dilemma is what to do with this lyre. My son no longer use it. I thought maybe someone could make good use of this.
Meantime, if you are looking for a cost-effective ukele tuning, you can check some music stores in the Quiapo, Manila area for service center.
We have been saving this coming Christmas season not for acquiring decors and ornaments but to buy food and other important things needed at home. Every year, we use the same Christmas lights and decoration. We don’t buy new ones but maximize the ones that are still usable. We also have our mini “Belen” atop the entertainment cabinet.
I may request the kids to help me with the tissue rolls that I have collected over the years. There are several DIYs ideas that could convert these tissue rolls into creative projects and gift ideas as well.
As for those who update their Christmas decors every year, I suggest they look up for cost-effective items online. And for those who want to purchase some gift items like a musical instrument, they can click here for secure ordering at musiciansfriend.com
How about you, what are your plans as far as decorating your homes this Christmas season?
