There have been many memorable moments in my life: the day I married my friend, the birth of my children and their graduation day. I remember being so excited to see the little kids march up the stage to receive their diploma or say a little speech before their classmates in nursery and kindergarten.
But the feeling is different when both of them graduated from elementary school. Spending their young lives in school for eight years (nursery and kinder years included) is not a walk in the park. It takes a lot of patience and determination to teach kids the basic education and character formation at a young age and I salute the teachers for that.
Now, my kids are both in high school. Next year, I’ll be accompanying my eldest to get her high school diploma. It will be another graduation day to celebrate and an unforgettable occasion to cherish.
