We dropped by at Chowking (Fairview Mall Branch) to treat ourselves with halo-halo after a tiring but fun walk at Eco Park.
Hubby is enjoying his share
Halo-halo (from Tagalog word halò, “mix”) is a popular Filipino dessert that is a mixture of shaved ice and milk to which are added various boiled sweet beans and fruits, and served cold in a tall glass or bowl.
Halo-halo is one of the most popular refreshments in the Philippines during summer time.
Young chow fried rice topped with siomai. Young chow fried rice is a hit to my kids. Siomai on the other hand is my comfort food. I can finish three orders of these in one sitting. ^^ I’ve tried cooking both foods on different occasions but nothing beats the original taste of Chowking’s bestseller snack.

When I’m meeting a deadline and have no time to cook breakfast for my kids I would request hubby to buy something that I can re-heat the next morning. He bought this Chaopan from Chowking one night. I just add boiled egg on top to make it look appealing to my kids.
