I bumped into a former colleague last year and glad that he is doing good as a freelancer in Mindanao. He studied webpage making, layouting on his own and right now he is into photography. He said he polished his skills in photography even when he was still in Manila and now he earns more from photography than his writing gigs. He said his clients are mostly non-government organizations, foreign donors who have projects in Mindanao. He also contributes to some airline magazines. Born and raised in Mindanao, he knows his way around the place and don’t need a gps golf to be able to reach a certain place in the land of promise. He had a coffee table book published a few years back.
