An old friend has donated several inches of her hair to an organization that produces wig for persons with cancer. She said she’s sporting a short hair these days and she loves her new do besides the fact that she did it for a good cause. She understands how painful it is for people undergoing chemotherapy to lose their hair during treatment. She knew about it as she painfully recalls how one of her siblings succumbed to cancer several years ago. She said those who don’t have the opportunity to give their own hair may donate whatever wig they can afford to share even if it’s cheap raquel welch wigs as long as it is useful to its user.
