Flashback Friday: Meeting with National Artist Eddie Romero

From left to right: Former PJI President Rudy Romero; his older brother Director Eddie Romero, who was then PJI Chairman of the Board; my husband N, then MIS manager; and yours truly.

This rare moment with the National Artist Eddie Romero was captured on camera in 1999 at the Philippine Journalists, Inc. office in Port Area, Manila.

The Romero brothers were visiting each office, including the Management Information System (MIS), at the time. Hubby, who was then heading the MIS office, introduced me to the bosses.

I was pregnant with our second child here and sharing a computer with one of the MIS staff.

Mr. Eddie Romero was declared as National Artist of the Philippines in 2003. He was known for directing, producing, and writing several movies from the 1940s to 2006. Source: Wikipedia
