I miss biking whenever I see friends on Facebook who enjoy cycling for recreation. It’s been decades since I learned to ride a bike, and it’s not even my own. When I was younger, I would go to the park with friends to rent bikes and spend hours enjoying the cool breeze.
Last week, my daughter and I purchased our first bikes. The bikes are surplus items from Japan.
The sturdy-looking bikes are foldable and can be taken comfortably to parks.
My daughter and I are determined to learn to use it (sadly, with 30 years of not riding a bike, I have to relearn to balance).
We are looking forward to more time for practice and eventually enjoy biking in the neighborhood.
Today’s generation is all about technology. Although continuous innovations make our lives easier, it has a negative side as well. Our kids are getting slower and lazier as they become addicted to computer-based games. Still, it is in our hands as parents to nurture our children. During their growing age, many things can matter a lot in polishing their personality. Proper guidance is all they need in every stage, whenever they need it. Adults should never try to be judgmental. Issues should be addressed properly without bias. Play with them like their friends. And if you can avoid it, protect them from computer games at an early age. You can use other toys to help them have fun in a more natural yet classic way.
To help them enjoy themselves with other friends, you can set up a tumbling mat or a portable pool. Combine it up with small slides and believe me, outdoor water toys can help them enjoy a great deal. Technology has brought many changes, but too much ease is also leading this generation towards unhealthy choices. It is time to reshape the generation by engaging them in healthy activities.
Now that I mention tumble mat. There’s a tumble mat for sale that is a great addition to your sporting equipment at home. This one is cheaper, and you can do many things with it while enjoying the fresh air and sunlight in your backyard.
