Dictionary.com defines the phrase: “When something good or bad occurs, it usually occurs more than once and often within a short period of time.”
I’m emphasizing the GOOD here. And this refers to the blessings that I received and still receiving.
I discovered a good-paying site from mommy blogger friends on Facebook. I was hesitant to apply at first because I thought I lack what it takes to get my blogs approved by the site.
After sending a few proposals, I received my first pitch. And now, I just completed my fifth assignment from them.
I’m thankful and excited for more opportunities to come from this company.
This blog is celebrating its 8th birthday this year. I’ve been writing on this blog (under its first name penname30.blogspot.com) since 2009 and it’s through this blog where my other blogs were created. I’m not as active as I was before but I reject the idea of closing it down and the other blogs as I share so much of my personal and family’s life in every post I write. I started writing about personal stuff and other things of interest and then gradually sharing about product information similar to acoustic guitar at guitarcenter.com. Blogging has also helped me earn passive income. The financial gain may not be as stable and big compared to a regular paying job but it somehow contributes in paying the bills at home. I wish to continue blogging as long as it takes. Happy birthday, momwritesforacause.com!
Many people online nowadays choose to blog as a way to make extra money. Whether you want to make some extra cash or make enough money to become a blogger full time, blogging can be a great choice for you. There are a number of ways you can turn your blog into a money-making enterprise.
One way to make money on a blog is by applying to a paid blogging network. Here you can write pre-approved posts on various topics that advertisers have selected for you in order to promote their products. When the blog post is up, thus gaining the company additional exposure, you will receive your money. There are many different networks and for each one you will have to fill out an application. Here you will have to give the details of your blog and include the kind of subjects that will fit well in your blog. After all, an advertiser dealing with Long Beach property management is not going to want to advertise their company on a blog about cars.
Similarly, you can also write paid reviews for advertisers on your blog regarding various products the company is launching. Obviously, part of the agreement is that you have to say you like the product in order to get money, but this can be a great way to make extra cash.
You can also make money by putting advertising on your blog itself. Banner ads are often popular and work by generating you income for every person that clicks on the ad. The more visitors you have to your blog, then the more likely you are to make some money from your ads as there will be more people clicking on them. You should be careful to only put up ads that are relevant to your blog and it topics.
