Benefits of Guyabano (Soursop)

guyabano

Aside from mangosteen, I’m currently raving for guyabano (soursop) these days. Guyabano has many known benefits, including the prevention of cancer.

Guyabano is also rich carbohydrates, dietary fiber, and Vitamins C, B1, and B2 and flavanoid content. Flavonoids, according to the Department of Science and Technology, are phytochemicals found to inhibit the growth of viruses, allergens and carcinogens.

Traditionally, guyabano has proven natural benefits. It helps lower fever, spasms, heart rate, and blood pressure. It also helps relieve pain, inflammation, and asthma.
