Homemade Milk Tea

I’ve stumbled the recipe on YouTube and made my own variation of this popular milk tea without sago. Here’s how I made it.

You need the following: evaporated milk, condensed milk, tea bags (I used Lipton tea for this one), water, and ice.

Procedure:

1. In a container, pour hot water over your desired number of teabags (I used 10 to 13 teabags) and let it stand for 10 minutes or more.
2. Mixed the tea with evaporated milk, condensed milk, and cold water. I produced 2.5 liter milk tea after this.
3. You can put ice cubes or ice tubes directly into the container or in a glass of milk tea.
4. Place it in the freezer. The colder your milk tea the better.

Other milk tea variations have sago or black gulaman as ingredient.

Summer coolers: Ice Candy

I would love to do some for my kids today. Here’s what I’ll be using

Buco meat shredded, condensed milk to sweeten, water. You can add vanilla if you want a more flavorful ice candy. Mix the ingredients well and fill them in ice candy bag. Place them in freezer overnight. Serve.

You can make a variety of fruity ice candy or ice drop by using different fruits in season like mango. To make your summer coolers more fun, you can use animal shaped ice cube trays. Kids would love to see animal shaped ice cubes floating in their favorite juice drink.

Preparing fresh coolers is the best way to beat the summer heat. Have a cold buco juice while relaxing in your favorite patio chair wearing your favorite raybans or shades.

Refreshing Food and Beverages for Summer

Summer is usually the time when people think about different home repairs and projects on how they can make their houses look better. While there is nothing wrong with this, rewarding themselves with the fruits of their labor is necessary so that people will still be ready to tackle new projects next time.

You might be feeling tired of working on improvements for your home by now. Why not put down your jib crane first and eat refreshing food products that will help you feel more comfortable. Fruits are always refreshing especially if they are cold. If you are not too sure about glucose levels though, you can always stick to watermelon. It will make you feel refreshed and you will also get the sweet and unique taste of this fruit.

If you are more into the usual things, ice cream and other cold drinks will also make you feel more refreshed especially after working for a good long while. Just make sure that you balance everything you eat so that you will not feel sluggish afterwards.
