I’ve been reading how my friend Pehpot of Gossip Mom and Make or Break handle herself while attending to her little boys and panicking assistant amidst the rising water inside her house during the onslaught of typhoon Ondoy two weeks ago. I was amazed at how Pehpot, who is due to deliver her fourth child late this month or early Nov, had tried to stay calm and allay her children’s fear and hunger. She’s truly an inspirational mom.
* I would also like to dedicate this page to all the rescuers, volunteers, social workers and hundreds of nameless heroes who put their best foot forward to the extent of risking their own lives to help typhoon victims survive. People like you are truly inspirational and worth emulating.
